The rumour is: Robert Duverne (a former fitness coach  for the French international team, and long-serving fitness coach at Olympique Lyonnais) has resigned from his job at minnows Arles-Avignon where he was assistant manager)  and should be joining up with Houllier as assistant... (or maybe sponge and bucket man, it's not clear).

No from Monday by the sounds of it. However if we have a poor first half I would like to see him storming down the touchline a la Pullis on Monday.

That article is probably about as reliable as your hairdresser's mate's dad, but you never know.

Was that the same fitness coach who was involved in that hilarious training ground strop with Evra in South Africa?

The one who marched off and threw his pass violently across the pitch?

I hope so. One of the funniest football-related scenes seen in a long time.

Should have been 3 well earned points in the bag last night, which could make all the difference at the end of the season, and you lot know it. Sure there are lots more games to come. But at the end of every season I always look back at games like last night and say "if only", it usually results in us just missing out on Europe, or the Champions fucking League.

The only team that doesn't do that is the one that wins the league (and even they do it if they want to improve).

I normally am.  It's just the place needs stablity but we have another game before that happens against a team akin to Stoke.

In fact, scrub everything I've just said, of course we will win (winky, smiley, happy face)
