I'd like to know the questions and answers either side of that. Quite frankly, we're not Liverpool. Like Man U, they have a tradition of consistently winning trophies. We don't have that, at least not in our recent history, so the expectations are different. Most of us would be happy to see some silverware anytime soon. I also doubt he's left what one must imagine is a more comfortable job in France, to take control of a Premiership football team that has severely underachieved in the past 20 years, if he didn't have some ambition and desire to win things left in him.
I hope that his stay puts in place many of things that will make us into one of those teams that consistently competes for every trophy ever season, and further to that, we'll have won some things too during his tenure.
