Glad we got that sorted.

I think we will do better than expected with GH.  Our expectations aren't sky high and we always do well when we don't expect to.

Agree on both counts, Bren. Monday can't come soon enough.

I'd like to know the questions and answers either side of that. Quite frankly, we're not Liverpool. Like Man U, they have a tradition of consistently winning trophies. We don't have that, at least not in our recent history, so the expectations are different. Most of us would be happy to see some silverware anytime soon. I also doubt he's left what one must imagine is a more comfortable job in France, to take control of a Premiership football team that has severely underachieved in the past 20 years, if he didn't have some ambition and desire to win things left in him.

I hope that his stay puts in place many of things that will make us into one of those teams that consistently competes for every trophy ever season, and further to that, we'll have won some things too during his tenure.

We're not liverpool   but why say   it so starkly on day one?

And as for our natural station being 7th   to12th.

I was very pleased with this appointment, but why on earth would he want to sound so O'Leary on day one?

I feel a bit annoyed.

Agree with paulie, thought he'd be a bit more respectful, and knowledgeable about us.
7-12th place my arse. Looks like he's covering his before he's even started.

I look forward to seeing what GH can do & bring to the table.

As fans its our turn to do our job & get behind the man & the team, welcome GH.

Though from all the garbage I've been hearing off site about fans not wanting GH in, basically throwing their toys out of their prams, all I can say is; give a man £100 & he'll complain you gave it to him in £20's.
