Why is Milner a judas? The only time we heard about him wanting to leave was when MON said he did. MIlner immediately denied the comments. Andy Grays a wanker but does make me laugh that we won the european cup just a few years later, maybe he's just bitter?
I dunno, I'd err on the side of saying that the fella was a genuine talent, I feel that I saw enough in the first season back in 1988 to feel he was genuine talent, then again not having him as the powerhouse target seemed to free us up to play the expansive football style which was such a joy to watch the season after Mac left. Would it be fair to say that Mac leaving freed us up to take advantage of the creative movement that Cowans and Platt demonstrated in 89?
