It would be between 3 already mentioned:

1. Man U Semi
2. Bournemouth
3. Liverpool 5-1

The 1-0 victory at home against Small Heath on 12/04/69 has a special place in my heart as well.

Of all the ones I have attended, my favourite game was the Atletico Madrid home game. It had everything, and when Collymore scored, I remembered me and my mate looking at one another in total disbelief before crying with utter joy, and bearhugging the two massive skinheads behind us in the Witton Lane. We were right next to the Atletico fans and we spent the whole game singing and chanting. I remember quite clearly thinking that it was the happiest I've ever been.

Difficult to choose, but up there would be the 3-0 win over QPR at Highbury in the League Cup semi-final.  Mainly because living in London the press down here assumed it would be a walkover for QPR.

A Little hatrick with one of my favourite headlines the following day - 'Litlle by Little by Little'.

This and the second replay at Old Trafford

The Tranmere game had it all, never known a see saw rollercoster of emotions like that afternoon.

But hammering Inter Milan at our place when they had the best of the German and Italian national squad in their ranks was special too. Paul Birch doing a job on Matthaus, Klinsmann and Brehme looking completely shellshocked, Zenga thumping the ground after Kent Nielsens opener, the whole lot.

Tony Daley had one of those nights when he was pretty much untouchable too.

Man Utd 94 at Wembley was a magical day. I think it's my favourite because the whole weekend in London was perfect.

Beating Bradford in '88 - the last home game of the season with Platty's goal was a great day -  Only around 35,000 there I think, but was a party atmosphere after we scored. Pretty tense until then though.

Don't think anyone has mentioned the boxing day and new years day extravaganza against Man Utd and Arsenal in 1990. I think we went top after beating Utd and I really did believe we could win the league coming away from the Arsenal win. Brilliant festive season atmosphere in the Holte too.  What a turnaround from a couple of years previously.

   I remember the West Brom 74/75 game  for;
   Chico scoring,
bizarre snow storm, I think the game was in April
Match of the day coverage, I think they had a problem with their cameras, started in
colour , finished in black & white

Actually beating Chelsea in 07/08 at home is up there with the best too. When Mourinho managed them we had some great games with them. We were their bogey team for a while. The 4-4 was special too, will never forget it and will always associate Martin laursen with that day.

Hope we restore that today!

For raw emotion, the Tranmere game had everything a supporter could want: goals, controversy, a great come back, a penalty shoot-out that swung first one way and then the other and ultimately a trip to Wembley at the end, all conducted in front of a standing Holte.

My favourite Villa Park memory, albeit a bitter-sweet one, is the first-leg defeat to Juventus in 1983.

Favourite ever game: no contest.  Wednesday, 26th May 1982.  Sometimes the significance of the result is vastly more important than the 90 minutes spent achieving it.

Has to be Manure 94 cup final for me, still have fond memories of singing "where's your treble gone", was simply a great day out.

It's between Tranmere and that game for me.   Beating Man Ure was so good because we genuinely seemed to have a rivalry going then, after league title race the year before.   Of course we very much went our separate ways shortly after that point.

Tranmere, the last great terrace mental at VP, and quite possibly the country. I'm not  sure anything will ever match the moment Dalian scored.

I missed the Bournemouth game, I wish I was there for that.

The Tranmere game will take some beating though, it had everything.
