My first game was a 2-1 win over Leicester in the 87/88 season which was our last time in the second tier. Lillis and Evans scored I think.

Lillis and Evans scored I think. That was my first game too, it was the week after the FA Cup game against Liverpool and I remember the Holte looked incredible on TV.
my fist game was on 1998-08-23,Aston Villa beat Middlesbrough 3 to 1, there were 13 minutes remain, A Thompson's free kick fly over the Midosburgh team's wall, into the net, completely destroyed the hope of equalizing the Meadowsboro team.
My first game was a 0-3 home defeat to Manure in 1979. My first away game was the 2-1 win at The Sty in the title winning season.
Dad first took me in 1975/76 & I think it was against Sheffield United - was it 5-1 ?

Grandad fell on the ice in the Trinity Rd queue, and it was my first 40k crowd.
