I have to admit that although Klinsman would be abit of a gamble, I am rather excited by the possibility.

I am getting to the point where excitement is all I really crave, wrong though it may be to be that simplistic about all this!

I'm working with a fella from our odffice in Dussledorf today and he knows his football ( a Karlsrhue fan - is that how you spell it?)

He reckons that Klinsmann is a good short term motivator but not the best long term appointment. Sounds like a German Keegan to me.

But what do I know?

oh yeah, not that this has anything to do with things but it's widely thought in Germany that Jurgen is gay. I know he's married with 2 kids.....

Gayness is the hot topic in German football. Ballack's agent said gay players are the reason they didn't win the World Cup.

I don't buy it, i think Jurgen is just naturally good with fabrics

Brian Kerr and Christian Holst

Made me smile. At least I would get some new Villa 'friends' here.

Well you can hardly say things have been boring at the Villa lately.

I always thought Joachim Low was a bit too stylish.

I fully expect there to be no announcement of any kind friday. Business as usual. I don't believe for a second we'll appoint a new gaffer before the month is out.

Please, prove me wrong!!!!

I heard from a good source a while ago that klinsmann was certainly in the frame - would not suprise me as much as it would not piss me off either.

Impress the players - Just show them the 2 world cup winning medals, titles in Bundersliga, Seria A etc

Or just show them his wad - he must be hugely rich and that obviously impresses footballer today

I think we would have a great deal of positive press for a while and he is a big enough name to impress many a foreign player to our team - certainly a celebrity appointment - i am warming to it

My only concern would be his actual managerial ability - i know that might sound stupid but in every other box he ticks them with ease

I would be crushed,no european experience,no transfer signing experience as he's always worked under a general manager in the states.
