O`Learys coming back, with MON as his assistant. Oh yes and KM is being sacked and Billy McNeill will be reserve team manager, ready to step in as caretaker boss in November when the two Os resign.

According to that, the players will be arriving in almost exactly the same time as the manager -give or take a day.

I'm not saying it can't happen, but I don't recall too many instances of a new manager/ new player (s) combo rocking up in tandem at a club.

Wasn't the Petrov signing made at the instigation of O'Neill before he was officially announced as boss?

Anyone read this post by GingerCollins29 on VillaTalk?

"Mr. Lerner prefers to be discreet with these things, which is why there has not been a sniff.

Unfortunately if I mention a name, then I will be liable. However the new manager has managed at International Level before, and one of his targets has played under him. I maintain still that the manager will be revealed within the media on Thursday, with an official press conference on Friday. There are 3 main transfer targets, a defender, a midfielder (this is the player that has worked under the new manager), and a striker. Deals for the midfielder and the striker will be completed prior to the Everton game, whereas there has been a delay on the defender deal due to wages. Unfortunately I cannot confirm when this player will join."

Interesting or bullshit?

Am I the only one that wonders how you can be liable if you're not at fault/wrong?  I think he's just admitting it's a load of shite here!

I also can't see us being after a defender.

Still, as he's given exact timings we'll know soon enough if he's right or not.

i have a feeling if this is true that it strongly points to jurgen klinsmann and i would be more than happy with that , maybe a german international or 2 to boot , would be nice.
i remember a couple of hours before mon left a poster predicted it was going to happen that day and was derided by the throngs, i hope this story is proved true.
bradley has had no contact with randy and surely after 2 weeks he would have been approached if he was an option.

I think he may be getting mixed up with LIBEL. Even then, I can't see what the problem is - no one has been named in person and it's being taken as rumour/conjeture anyway, not being claimed as truth. Well, not on this site anyway.

no idea who he is, but he's certainly putting himself out there, knowing how the site bullies like any chance they can grasp. Plus if he's in any way associated with Villa, as some posting on here have found, they do punish quickly even when they think there is a slight.
I'm not holding my breath but I admit to finding the comment intriguing, especially as SSN went so high profile on Bradley, yesterday.

You can't be sued for libel if what you're saying is true.

If I were to join in the game, I would say Bradley Sr and Bradley Jr.

Obviously not, we just don't know if it's true yet. I was only saying he may have got his words mixed up in any case, I'm probably wrong.

Of the 'likely' names the press have linked with us, Bradley, Sven and Klinsman fit the bill.  Donovan would be a decent midfielder were it Bradley, with Sven there's a load of candidates and with Jurgen I'd pretty much take any of the Germany midfield.

Still think there's nothing in it though.
