The only good thing about this is now randy might stop sitting on the fence and go out and get a new manager now , rather than hoping for the cheap option in keV mac!
If friedal wore a cap he might see where the ball is - 3 soft goals against a team who will struggle to stay up!

Ireland is a quality player, but cannot play next to Stan. We are wide open in central midfield.

Think we need to get Ash out to the left. We're getting nothing down the right - take Albrighton off and get the Fonz on to mix it up front

Beat a very poor West Ham 3-0 at home in a game we should have probably scored 6 or 7. We are not world beaters as some of us mistakenly believed last week (me included) and we are not as bad as this half time scoreline suggests.

Newly promoted team with lots of passion everything has gone there way in this first half, the gods are smiling on them today. We are a very inconsistent team, excellent in patches, average and clueless in others, this is why we are not a top 4 team.

Just hope we go out in the 2nd half and show some bite and win the half.

Mr Optimist says, if we can nick one now, or even early in the second half, they will fold like a deck of cards and we will win.

Mr Pissed off says, I really hope we can keep it down to 3 or 4 the way we are playing, and fuck off Carew, game after game you take the piss with your insipid performances.

I agree whole-heartedly about Carew, he seriously needs replacing. By Delfouneso at half-time, and by God knows who in the long term.

We really need Gabby back fully fit, and fast!

When was the last time we made a sub at half time?  Hopefully we will have today with NRC for Albrighton or Downing, or even bring Fonz on.  Wonder if KMac will have the balls to take off Carew at this stage?

Albrightons doing Ok in my opinion he's taking on his full back either side and keeping him guessing
but we are not crossing enough
that may have to do with 'Big' john going into his shell after the blazed penalty
Ireland made some nice forward runs but no one is used to playing with him yet so it is not going well for him
Petrov is not a defensive midfielder-nice passer of the ball but can't tackle or head or play rough

Carew and petrov off
NRC and Fonz on
for me

Well, at least we'll find out what Kevin Mac is all about.
It's been boys against men so far. Newcastle have had style when style is needed. They've been strong when strength is needed.

Right, I'm off to the "Who's our next penalty taker" thread.

Without MON I'm at a loss as to who to blame, I feel as confused as our entire defense
