Guy, our recruitment policy for money spent has been average at best.
If you compare it to Houllier's whilst at Liverpool, MON's purchase history was superb.

But at Lyon he brought in some very good players, so hopefully he has learnt.

He also swapped Carew for Baros.

I wouldn't attribute any of Lyon's transfer activity to whoever happens to be the head coach at the time. That's all Aulas and Lacombe.
