BBC now reporting the Curbishley story, 24 hours behind H&V but they got there eventually.

No need Hawkeye.

I think everyone could see you only read what Dave wrote and not the rest.

The problem I have with Curbs is that the fan base seems split if he was in charge. We need to be a united as a club now. I think this would be detrimental for the club going forward.

Much prefer Ac to Sven the gold digger or KMac the inexperienced. Lets face it, if we're not getting a dream appointment - Jol, Moyes, who's better the AC? The thirst for a "big name" doesn't do it for me. Lets get a man of substance and stability.

Fourteen and a half actually.  I do apologise for lowering the intellectual tone though.  Obviously 200 and whatever pages in to a thread where I, you and everyone else still don't have a shinty who the new manager is going to be has made me feel rather blase about the speculation.

It made me chuckle hehe!!

Curbishley is an average man and an average manager, with an average outlook and an average tone, with an average media persona and an average manner. He would be played by William H Macy in a film, and come across as a bit wimpy, and continue to be average.

That is what is wrong with him.

Split in what sense?

I appreciate we are just a small microcosm of the club's support, but I was thinking earlier today that I can't really remember another issue on here on which so many people were in agreement on the point in question.

Legion. At least we could claim on the insurance.

Alot of my mates would not mind Curbs, my dad is the same. The point is we need to be united behind the club. If we arent then the club, manager and board are all pulling in different dimensions.

Just to be clear, I don't want him myself
