Jesus H Christ

By appointing him Randy would just show we are depending on miracles and as he is supposedly omnipresent, why didnt we appoint him years ago? I would ask "where has the money gone" and "Why have we got the only Billionaire who doesn't have any money" and I'd also be a spoilt brat.

At least he's sort the crosses out.

The beer and wine sales would slump.  People would only need to bring in flasks of water.

Blasphemers! Burn the blasphemers!

All I said was that the Aston Villa job was good enough for Jehova!

That would unemployed George Graham?
Sure managers apply for Jobs. Even some of the best ones.

Out of work managers apply for jobs and in work managers have to be applied for.

You think Mourinho applies for jobs? Not at all.

O.K, that's one, the best one in the world...

Koeman said that we'd been in touch with his agents. There's two the latter not being the best in the world.

In the vacuum of any knowledge, the same arguments are repeated, day after day after day. Meanwhile productivity in the UK plc slumps.

I've just stuck a tenner on Jurgen the German, mainly to relieve the boredom.

What are you saying exactly Peter, that good managers dont apply for jobs? You dont think anybody has applied for the Villa job who would be considered a good manager?

Is there even a better managerial job available in Europe right now? In the world?
Of course there will be high profile applicants.
And did Koeman say we got in touch with his agent first or just that we'd been in touch with his agent?

All I'm saying is that not every manager will apply for a job. Some will and thos ethat think they dion't need to won't. Moyes, for example, won't have applied for the job but I bet we've contacted his agent sounding him out. On the other hand I bet the Likes of Curbishley would have to apply. Hiddink? No. Sven? probably not.

As for Koeman he said we'd been in touch with his agent. Whichever way you look at it that means he didn't apply. Same can be said of Jol. Managers already at a football club are less likely to apply for a job lest it undermines their current position.

I've put a tenner of Walter Smith just for the fun of it.

We've gone from arguing about who it should be, to who it will be, and from that onto what the appointment process is.

I've been doing some work today instead. I've got loads done, and I'm not nearly as wound up as I was about it all yesterday.

It's better like that, I think.

You never know, based on something I was told.  Completely unreliable source but one of those things that you think if you don't do something you would be spitting feathers if it happened.
