...............even if it gets Randy a name in some parlances for being aggressive.

It's not 'aggressive' - it's business.

I hope Randy isn't bottling this.

I hope he remembers how much he's invested in the club and therefore how much needs protecting.

the only peole i see bottling it, our those on who want action now, no matter what the outcome.

we dont know whats happening behind the scenes, we are just speculating, need a bit of patience, and a bit of bottle to see it through, i think randy's got that, unlike many on here

Well said John.
It amazes me the way people have starting turning towards the board, they've given us no reason to doubt them since they've took over, so have a little faith.

Please randy don't appoint or even consider appointing kmac as manager-we have been dreadful last 4 games under him and on Sunday had33% possession at home - give him a pay rise , thank him and put him back in his reserve role-go for an experienced man with good contacts in Europe please!

Bottle, or lack of it, has nothing to do with it.  Given the possibility of MacDonald being appointed, all people are doing is offering their views on that were it to happen.

What is amazing is that some people think that if the fans have bottle or faith that it will somehow lead to a better outcome.

Granted, I don't think bottle comes into it, but I think Randy and co. have earnt the right to be trusted on any potential appointment.

At least getting Kmac to do the job should reduce the wage bill, and therefore allow us to purchase some much needed players in the January transfer window.

That's assuming we don't pay Kmac the same as we paid for O'Neil and co.

They've earned the right to wait and see who it before being condemned but you can surely understand why people are concerned.

I will trust in their ability to appoint the right man when they have done just that. Until then everyone has the right to be skeptical. This is different to most, if not all, decisions they have made before: this will decide the direction of the club for the next few years and requires sound footballing judgement. I'm not saying they will definitely get it wrong any more than I'm saying they will definitely get it right.

Chris.
You never used that equation when MON was rumoured to be signing X, Y and Z.
Your line was always
'MON knows what he's doing.'

They've earned the right to not be criticised until an appointment is made. Not until he's proved to be any good or not, just until he arrives. And this is from Chris 'Party Line' Smith?

even when they appoint the new man, you wont know whether he's going to be succesfull or not,
whoever it is will have some peole pleased and others angry, thats just the way of things,
just because they dont pick one of yours or my favourites doesnt mean anything to be honest,

Bloody Hell, Gus Poyet just gone from 80-1 to 33-1, probably because of this on BBC:

"Gus Poyet Aston Villa bound? My mate works for his agents and Villa have made enquiries"

Just on BBC Transfer Deadline Page

artillery_john-TW14 on 606: "Martin O'Neill is being brought in to replace the outbound David Moyes at Everton. Moyes will make Mikel Arteta his first signing as the new Aston Villa boss."

lol if we got moyes and arteta, i would do of anything Randy asked.  ANYTHING.

Thats how confident i am of that not happening

Ring ring:
KM: Hello is that Jermaine Defoe? It's Kevin MacDonald here.

JD: Who?

KM: Kevin MacDonald from Aston Villa, fancy moving to the midlands.....

(For Jermaine Defoe read ANY top class player)

Hmmmm...

If we install KM then what makes you think that anyone will come to us?  Reducing the wage bill by getting a cheap inexperienced manager to free up funds to attract players is not a sound business plan.  Nobody will come to us of any status under MacDonald.  Still, brings the wage bill down hey......
