That would suggest Moyes is his first choice to me.

I would say there is very little chance of that happening though.

It could be very good, it could be very bad, it's a nothing statement.

My Everton supporting mate will be pleased if it is Moyes.

My initial thought is Alex Macleish.  Hope I'm wrong.

You could supply him.

I'd rather have Robert the Bruce than John Merrick.

Stuck a few quid on Moyes and then, because the odds are much better, a few quid on Capello :p Serious stir indeed!

Anyone who thinks it'll be a Phil Brown-level of appointment needs their head examined.

A spurs fan I know has got money on it being Tony Mowbray.
The thought of Chris Smith endlessly defending Mowbray is almost worth appointing him. Almost.

Not a fucking chance of me defending that sour faced c***. He'd be right up your street thought with his 200 passes to achieve fuck all philosophy.
You've made my day, Chris. (Sniggering like Mutley)

I'm almost certainly on my own here but I'd actually be quite pleased if it was Mcleish. Obviously it would be funny to annoy them but I genuinely think he's a very, very good manager. Perhaps it's just my liking for Rangers talking but I certainly see him as a far better candidate than the majority of people who seem to be in the running for the job.
