Bradley has done well with the States and may very well be a good coach. However, this is not the type of risk I think we should be taking. I'd be quite happy with someone like Rangnick/Martinez, as I can see the upside. However, Bradley (while I stress again he may be a good caoch) has no experience of dealing with the over inflated egos of European players. He has zero experience of managing in a European league. Most worringly, I'm pretty sure he has no real contacts from a scouting point of view and I think this has to be one of the primary qualities of the new manager.

id expect albion fans to cause uproar if there club appointed someone like bradley so if he came to villa i think that would signal we are a small time club with a small time chairman.

the problem with appointing someone like Martinez, who is my first choice as it happens,
is that you would be asking him to do the same as what MON did, and walk out close at the start of the season.

and if he did, it wouldnt say a lot about the man, so would we want that sort of character as the manager.

could obviously wait with Mcdonald, untill the right time came , but it would still seem a little under hand

Dutch legend Ronald Koeman has emerged as one of the candidates to replace Martin O'Neill as manager of Aston Villa.

Reports in Holland have revealed that Koeman, who parted company with AZ Alkmaar last December, could be heading for Villa Park.

Koeman impressed during past spells at Benfica and PSV, where he won the Dutch title.

A host of big names have been linked with the Villa job, including Sven Goran Eriksson and Bob Bradley.

It has been rumoured that Bradley has quit his job as USA coach.

O'Neill shocked football when he quit as Villa manager on Monday.

It has since emerged that he had become frustrated with the lack of money available, and the selling of some of his top stars.
