Seriously.......

Ditto! Really? that is a very dramatic statement. Unlike you and not in fitting with your other posts.....................looks for the tumbleweed emotion.

If Randy gives Bradley the job he will lose a lot of support at Villa imo

Unless he delivers.

Big, big risk if he appoints Bradley.

I can't believe Randy would do that.

I just can't believe that after a thorough search, the best qualified man they could find to manage Aston Villa would be Bob Bradley.

I wonder if the players have been consulted, could end up a munity of the players in the team rather than the dregs out of the team slagging MON off.

I have put £20 on Bradley at 6/4 to be the next manager so that should put the kibosh on it.

If we want to punch above our weight, we need to take some sort of (calculated) gamble. Bradley has succeeded in every role he's had (a few dodgy months at Metrostars perhaps) and has been in management almost 30 years.

The one thing that would guarantee us a return to mid-table mediocrity, if we ever left, would be a Hughes/Allardyce/McLaren type appointment. My personal choice would be an up-and-coming European manager, such has a Rangnick or Martinez. I don't think the benefit of Sven would justify the outlay.

I'd be nervously content with Bradley.

I will give Bradley a chance if appointed, and is a more interesting prospect than some of the dross mentioned.  I think even if we got the best possible replacement, we'd do well to top 6th.

Most people were clamouring for a manager with more a modern coaching approach, which surely he would have.  Likewise, his integration of younger players into the USA squad might translate well with our squad.

Hopefully, if appointed he will be given time, as realistically it will be a transitional season where 8th might be realistic.  This for some won't be good enough.

the bloke's team topped his world cup group which included England, he's hardly useless,
i know England are rubbish, but never the less,

Spain, you know the world champions, had only lost one game before the WC in two years, you guessed it against the USA

if the man was European, we'd all be welcoming him, its because he's American, and they know nowt about football.

this is the big risk we wanted, the brave new world for the Villa,

i dont know whether he'l be any good or not,
but to say he'l be a disaster and take Villa down etc is just a load of crap

Bradley's appointment would be a fiasco.

One of the toughest leagues in the world and we could be asking a man with no experience of running a European club to steady the ship.

Just what sort of player can we hope to attract with a novice on board?

I can't help thinking that the likes of Ashley Young would'nt hang around if the club went down the road of appointing the likes of Bob Bradley.

MON had his faults, but he has left the next manager with a good platform to work on. Let's not ruin it by giving the job to someone who would be a risk.

In that case, maybe we should employ the Swiss coach?

This could prove a disaster if BB is appointed.  :'(
