Now the dust has settled and the shock of oneil has gone i think giving Macdonald a crack is a much better option than a lot of the names on that list. Curbs, Fat Sam, robert duvall are all not good names to be brandishing around.I'm certainly excited about the game saturday, we all know Mac is a good coach, most of us have seen the reserves play and been entertained so i can see us in safe hands saturday, with a good, well balanced attacking team.Obviously I'd still go for the likes of rijkaard or Pellegrini but seriously what are the chances of that happening?
Ha ha, that was the least convincing ruling of ones self out ever from McLeish on SSN just now.
And enough women to make Bond cry. I don't know. At least Sven puts you on the map, has a huge pulling power for PLAYERS not just women, is very well respected by footballers and would likely be a bit more tactically astute that MON. BUT I then think of how poor England were against the ten men of Brasil, not keeping the ball, not changing the system etc, all problems I had with Martin. And Heskey too! Ideally I would want someone more prgressive. Pellegrini would be great, but at least Sven might be interesting.
