How on earth anybody can claim to know what is on our shortlist is beyond me.

Frankly, God help us if we get Sven. I don't think we will, but God what a ridiculous notion.

If everyone on this board was to put £5 on Terry Nutkins, would that be enough to stop the betting?

I'll stick a fiver on Nutkins, but a tenner on the otter that ripped his finger off. Oh, and two quid on Nutkins' barber.

SO bookies have given us this lot to choose from -

#  Jol - probably peoples choice on the site - , knows his way to our part of the world, good track record with Spuds before he was fired - just don't let approve the menu the night before the last game if we have a chance of the top 4. Get's my vote as best of a bad bunch (as we won't get Moyes)

# Bilic - seems to get bigged up for all PL jobs when they come up for grabs, for life of me don't know why, his Croatian team stuffed England a few times a few years ago - not the biggest task in the world as we've seen recently. Only good thing  I can say about him is that he wore claret and blue for a while - even if it was the wrong kind

# Moyes - no chance Everton wouldn't let us near him, realistically what can we offer him that he doesn't already have as Villa and Everton are on a par currently. In addition he's being groomed as the next Manure kingpin - would love him but not happening for me

# Bradley - please god no - no experience, can just imagine him talking about not having to worry about transfers or scouting as we will pick up some free agents and do well in the college draft. Well Mr Bradley the only college draft I experienced was the wind whistling through my flea pit of a room hitting my exposed bony arse because i was too pissed to make it under the covers from the night before. Stay away

# Curbishley - not wasting typed words on this one

# MacDonald - sadly not enough experience, will do well while he has the gig though

# Cowans - ditto unfortunately - my hero, can do no wrong - nothing gave me shivers more than hearing Sid belted out on the Holte End in the early 80's (my first season ticket was the year after Rotterdam - what luck!). Would hate to see him get it in case he failed - Legend!

# Kilinsmann - can't see it, he would walk out anyway once he's spent a day on the training pitch with Emily "that's not diving Emily, this is diving - what you do is just falling over - lots!"

# Southgate - see Curbishley above

# Eriksson - again can't see this, if wages / revenue is an issue bringing this twat in would be odd. It would cost us a fortune a year just to keep him in skirt. If he was on the shortlist i would put myself forward as the wages / revenue metric would be far more beneficial for the club due to my lower grade requirement in females.

# Zola - would love him to come in a do a good job, just to rub it in the face of the porn dwarf - not going to happen though is it

# Pearce - not a chance, found his level out of harms way wiping the collective Italian arse that is team England

# O'Leary - fuck off!

# McClaren - nope, most of our squad is English, he appears to be longer able to speak the language

# Laursen - would love this but heart ruling head - but one day perhaps just not now

# Clough -  unlikley as he's dead, i doubt he would come without Peter Taylor - also dead,

my 2p worth - so by process of deduction Jol it is - job done on the blower to Amsterdam and get it done,

though knowing our luck we'll end up with Phil Brown and Dowie as his footballing consultant -wonder what those odds are?

I expect that his son is the intended Clough, rather than exhuming Brian.

I'm optimistic.

I want Bilic, but someone like Klinsmann would do - not a manager but he's a face and he'd lift the negativity around the place. He comes with a good coaching team as well doesn't he?

Ian Dowie lol.

The more I think it about the more it'd be a disaster if Bob Bradley was our manager. He'd have no idea.

Terry Nutkins!  Finally something to put a smile on my face after a miserable 24 hours, love that guy, keeping the monk mullet look alive

I suspect there is a little bit of sarcasm there as is Clough Jr really worth even mentioning on this forum?

Dear God!
Not Erikkson, we don't want spunk stains all over the board room carpet.
