Hitz is apprently injured and won't play, Behrami is playing his face and wants out and they don't have a work permit for Sulejmani. Plus I am at my sister's wedding instead of the game, so I reckon a really upbeat performance from our boys and a 3-0 home win, Carew 2, Young.

Reckon Mcdonald will play the Fonz up front with Gabby and Young behind them. 4-3-1-2. like the sound of that ............

Oh....4-0 to the Villa.
We're gonna tear Wrist Ham a new one.

I go along with this.  I think we'll smash the shit out of them.

Does anyone really think Ireland will play if the deal's done in the next 24 hours?  Isn't today the deadline for any new signings to play anyway?
Can't wait for the game. A 4-1 hammering (Carew, Gabby, Davies and Ashley) with Albrighton replacing Downing on 65 minutes. The nice cable guys here are showing the game live, so I will record it and watch it countless times. Prepare to be entertained.

oh dry yer eyes chris. Its hardly my fault the guy you continuously said you trusted turned out to have the morale backbone of a common Hodge. Your total wrongness in judging a manager's character is a constant source of amazement and pity. Another shrine to go in the loft next to the dust covered DOL one and the slightly mouldy John Gregory one. I'm sure you'll bounce back :0)

So, how long until you turn on the new manager as he doesn't do exactly as you want and dares to sign a player you don't rate, despite winning games in the meantime?

I'll give it to Christmas.

If i do, you can bet it'll be on his decisions as a manager. The new guy whoever he is won't be popular with a lot on here purely because he's Lerner's man and replaced the saviour. In fact many will be dying to see him fail, just like MON's successors at Celtic. Could be decades before we purge the MONette fanclub

I can guarantee you'll be moaning about something the new manager does before I will.

With Mac in charge. We could see the Fonz up front with gabby. (Carew has a back problem) Luke Young RB and Clarke with Dunny .......

I wonder if Luke Young will get some ironic cheers, presuming he plays of course.

I just realised the new season starts tomorrow. What with all this hullabaloo this week I'd forgotten. I can't wait.

I revise my initial prediction of a draw to a 3-1 win.

Sod it. 2/3-0 Villa.
I reckon the lads will want to prove a point, especially if L.Young/ NRC play.
MON may have walked out, but we still have a good quality squad, and we are a much better team then west ham.
If we play well, we will win, and i think we will !

I'd start Milner.

Friedel
Young - Dunne - Clark - Warnock
Petrov - NRC
Young - Milner - Downing
Gabby

Must admit I don't follow the reserves too closely, but does anyone know what formation Kevin Mac usually favours?
