My opinion is that you've got a downer on absolutely everything at the club at the moment, and you'll even talk down the feckin burgers just to have a go. Childish, I know, but I be there's a grain of truth in it somewhere along the line.

"Talking down the burgers just to have a go"?

Listen to yourself. You're right, you are childish. Extremely.

As I said, I bet there's a grain of truth in it.

Well, as for your "downer on everything at the club" bit, I've just been describing on the other thread why I don't find this summer difficult at all.

Off the top of my head, of late I've also spent a fair amount of time suggesting we'll get the best out of the Milner situation this summer, that our season ticket prices are very fair, that the chairman is fantastic, so I don't know where you get this "downer on absolutely everything at the club" line  from.

I don't like the manager's football very much. That's it.

You're suggesting I'm saying I prefer the food outside (which is cheaper - no debate there, it is) as a way of having a go at the club?

Christ almighty.

I think that's the most positive post I've read from you in absolutely ages.

Lack of transfer activity....let's start a food thread. Great.

Oh, and btw it's "sushi"

Actually, you're right and wrong both at the same time. What you are referring to is actually sushimi (sp?). Sushi is not raw fish. Or any kind of fish.

The selection available to vegetarians such as myself is pretty woeful, however I'm used to being marginalised in most mainstream locations serving food outside a rock festival in any case- if I go for a pub meal it's a noteworthy occasion if there are more than two or three veggie options, and it's especially noteworthy if any real thought has gone into more than one of them!

Needless to say, I usually eat before making my way to the ground.

And the beer is so overpriced it makes the Academy look a good value place to have a drink.

Bloody-hell. You can have some crisps can't you? Bleedin' veggies.

And judging by the vote, 13% of Villa fans are just that.

Worryingly.

Tough economic times. Some of us can't afford food (though can mysteriously afford a broadband connection).

I usually just have beer or Bovril at HT and a pie if I'm hungry. I've found them to be fine. If I'm having a burger or hot dog I'll buy it from a van outside. Not becase of the price or quality but rather because it seems a more "traditional" thing to do.

My main issue is the speed of the service rather than the quality or the price of the food.

Crikey yes, the speed ( lack of it) is amazing.

I think the club find it VERY hard getting the staff to be honest.
