Food at Villa park is over priced and tasteless. Need a whole new plan and to start a new trend in healthy eating ...........

Load of cobblers. It's a football stadium not a restaurant. Burgers, chips, pies etc, what more do you want?
We go there for the football not the bloody food.

What's wrong with giving people want they want?

People just want to moan really.

Or maybe they'd like to see improvements

If we are not going there for food why are you looking at this thread ?? Not everyone wants burgers, chips and pies. Everyone should have choices, especially where health is concerned. Why do you think smoking is banned in grounds now ?? Wake up its 2010 .....

He is correct of course, we don't go to VP for the food, but it is part of the 'experience' and from what i#ve seen, the 'food experience' is ( as you infer) still very 1970's with added curry sauce !

Sounds very nice to me. Mind you in the 70's all I remember you could buy were pies and bovril and not much else. There is definitely more choice now then there ever was. It's about the football for me though - but if people really that bothered about it, why don't they eat before they get there. Even I can go 2 hours without eating, and that's saying something believe me.

Na, a good old moan is what it's really about.

Actually, this seemingly minor point cuts right to the heart of much that's  been said over the years.

On the one hand is "You're always moaning" and "You're not proper supporters"

On the other, I've always believed that one of the best ways to support is to point out areas of potential improvement.

If we don't get our feed of Villa during the summer close season we thing there's something terribly wrong with the club. There isn't of course, but try telling that to people on here.

I don't eat in the ground. I sometimes have a burger from the vans outside.

Not because I can't last two hours without food, but because when the timing of the match fits with lunchtime, I'll grab a burger for lunch.

I'd happily buy that burger inside the ground if the quality was better and the prices were more reasonable.

It's no skin off my nose if they've got enough people to buy the dross they serve inside, but I would have thought that anything which can increase the money the club takes on a match day has got to be looked at.

I wouldn't feed the burgers that are sold outside the ground to a dog.

Compared to the guff sold inside, they're cordon bleu.

Yeah right. Those vans outside the ground are absolute filth, yet you're trying to claim the food is better than inside the ground. What a laugh.

To quote yourself on the other thread, that's my opinion.

I'm not claiming anything as truth, I am saying that I prefer the food outside the ground, as I find it marginally less revolting, and it is certainly cheaper.

My opinion is that you've got a downer on absolutely everything at the club at the moment, and you'll even talk down the feckin burgers just to have a go. Childish, I know, but I be there's a grain of truth in it somewhere along the line.
