He thinks he's been unfairly criticised. He really is up his own arse isnt he?
hopefully another season or two and hes gone and we can move on the best we can after his spending.
Enjoy everyone whos paying for tickets this season, he couldnt care less what you think....
And we don't give a fuck what you think.
I do. I'm sure I'm not the only one either because stevenjos won't be the only fan thinking this way; far from it.
No, but he will be the only one refusing to celebrate anytime Heskey scores a goal for us.
Yup. I wont be celebrating. It means he will stay for longer than him going on a 30 game no scoring streak.
and if you dont give a **** what i think then stop reading a message board. Write a note saying "everything is great at villa, i love our attractive football and our brilliant transfer policy" then put it in an envelope. Lick the lid (dont cut your lip now ;0) and stick it down. Write your address on it and post it to yourself. Then you can read something with only your opinion on it! :0D
Or I'll continue to read and contribute and disagree with you when I see fit. Now, which do you think is more likely to happen?

I love coming on here to see what has offended people today.
The fact that a few lines taken out of context from a Daily Star journo can whip so many people into a frenzy is just laughable. MON is paid to get players and get results, so far he has been successful on both counts.
Can't wait to see what we all get offended by tomorrow. i wrote the word frenzy, -noun extreme mental agitation; wild excitement or derangement.6 more pages of mental agitation, wild excitement and derangement later, i rest my case. I also wrote the word whip, anyone outraged or offended by that?

I think problem is football depend too much on Manchester City these days.
They tend to leave transfer for UK based players until few days before transfer deadline. Which give us teams like Arsenal, Us, Everton little time to buy replacement.
We need to stop depending on them and do the business.

“Really, I’m not remotely interested,” he said. “Honestly, I couldn’t care less whether I get unfairly criticised".
Except he does not like fan's moaning or getting booed now and than!

Where's the frenzy there?
There is a reaction based on a wilfull misinterpretaion of what the manager said.
Hardly "a frenzy", though, surely?
Slightly dramatic.
Not nearly as dramatic as the reaction from the nutters on here to what O'Neill said.

As someone posted earlier it is alike buying a house in as much as there is a chain - once one starts then everything will start rolling - i would imagine the catalyst is Man City - if they stump up the cash for Milner then that will start the ball rolling
So far they have only spent their money over seas i think Disagree with your logic - Barry was sold within days of the season ending last year - we still didn't spend until end of August

The world is full of powerful people doing the right things for the wrong reasons. I believe that Martin O'Neill is wrong to huff and puff in the transfer market. My son Damon expressed it perfectly when he said MON buys players like they are Faberge eggs. However my best hope for the season ahead is for our youngsters to be given their chances and to come good. If the manager misses out on overpriced old has-beens I rate that as a result.
