Agreed - I was all excited about coming back to the UK but NOTHING has happened at the club to make me want to buy a season ticket. In fact I'm struggling to find motivation to buy tickets for the Wet Spam match.

What an odd little intervention. I can speak for several people "paying for tickets" this season who don't give a fuck what stevenjos thinks so it's perfectly valid. As someone posted earlier it is alike buying a house in as much as there is a chain - once one starts then everything will start rolling - i would imagine the catalyst is Man City - if they stump up the cash for Milner then that will start the ball rolling

Might as well have said "am i bothered?" Me thinks he protests too much but how wanting the players to have actually met, trained together and got some understanding before the season starts can be classed as unfair criticism is beyond me

He's not 'protesting' at all. He was directly asked what he thought about his reputation for moving late in the transfer market and replied that he's not bothered if thats what people think as he did good business in the end. He used the example of Dunne, Collins and Warnock to prove it and he's right.
