Quite a lot of supporters 'couldn't care less' about renewing their season tickets while the transfer activity is so dull.

My son Damon expressed it perfectly when he said MON buys players like they are Faberge eggs.

I would be quite happy if he just went and signed some Kinder Eggs. We at might least get a few nice surprises then…

Clappy thingy.

We need to get rid of the coffee ones from our bag of Revels.

He may not care less about being "unfairly criticised", but it obviously bothers him when its fair criticism as that article proves

Agreed - I was all excited about coming back to the UK but NOTHING has happened at the club to make me want to buy a season ticket. In fact I'm struggling to find motivation to buy tickets for the Wet Spam match.

He thinks he's been unfairly criticised. He really is up his own arse isnt he?

hopefully another season or two and hes gone and we can move on the best we can after his spending.

Enjoy everyone whos paying for tickets this season, he couldnt care less what you think....

And we don't give a fuck what you think.

Mr Smith... stop including the word 'we' in your posts.

What an odd little intervention. I can speak for several people "paying for tickets" this season who don't give a fuck what stevenjos thinks so it's perfectly valid. I think most of us are able to read MONs comments without coming to the hysterical conclusion that it means he doesn't give a fuck what we think.

As someone posted earlier it is alike buying a house in as much as there is a chain - once one starts then everything will start rolling - i would imagine the catalyst is Man City - if they stump up the cash for Milner then that will start the ball rolling

So far they have only spent their money over seas i think

Disagree with your logic - Barry was sold within days of the season ending last year - we still didn't spend until end of August

Apart from spending £12m on Downing, which was the fee we got for Barry, in the middle of July you're 100% accurate.

Might as well have said "am i bothered?" Me thinks he protests too much but how wanting the players to have actually met, trained together and got some understanding before the season starts can be classed as unfair criticism is beyond me

He's not 'protesting' at all. He was directly asked what he thought about his reputation for moving late in the transfer market and replied that he's not bothered if thats what people think as he did good business in the end. He used the example of Dunne, Collins and Warnock to prove it and he's right.
