Joe Hart for me.
I'd quite like the reincarnation of Lev Yashin.

Which is about as likely to happen as us signing Joe Hart.

True, science is getting more impressive all the time. Let's get them to do Puskas as well.

At least a pundit finally quoted his fee correctly as £18mill rather than £24mil that was splashed all over the place when he first signed even though that was with addons galore. (Although I expect he has hit some of those already).

Feel a bit sorry for West Ham, never thought I would say that!

Must be awful to be goaded by Wigan fans, the ultimate insult...

At the start West Ham we're singing "you're going down with the West Ham" and "que sera, sera, whatever will be, will be, we're going to Coventry..." so they got their retaliation in first.

After Wigan's equaliser a plane flew over the ground with a banner saying "AVRAM GRANT - MILLWALL LEGEND".

Been rather a good weekend for me on the betting front

I had Villa to win today at 7/1

I also had Man Utd to win the league placed before the season began at 5/2

And then I remembered tonight that I had put money on West Ham to go down also before the season began at 9/2, which is perhaps the bet I am most pleased with as not many would have predicted that back in August

Just seen the pen that confirmed Manures win. How could it be given when the ball was virtually out almost before the contact on the keeper? Maybe because Vidic and the others had run 60 yards to yell in the linesman face.

Phil Dowd is a really, really terrible referee

Not only that but doing that 5 minutes after Lee Dixon was saying how ace Bent was...

The fact that he'd lost control of the ball when he was fouled is irelevant. It was a foul, so it was a Penalty. Those are the rules (not saying I agree with them).
Dowd made things much harder for himself by not being decisive enough and having to check with the linesman. Crap ref.

I had a shocking day, Chelsea cost me 50 quid, the one team that let me down  :(

And the Manure penalty, don't see how it wasn't, if Robinson had of stayed on his feet it would have been fine. Phil Dowd should never have got the lino involved. And booked the Yoonited players surrounding the ref.
