I have just had Swinton Insurance phoning me trying to get me to renew my car cover with them. Phoning people while the cup final is on would have been unheard of a few years ago!

Swinton? Frig me, I haven't heard of them since the last time these two were in a final.

This final is 'absorbing' according to ITV. This is reaching Spurs-Madrid levels of self-delusion.

no doubt Indian call centre with "James" trying on a very fake accent to convince you  he is local. Unlucky that he was not aware of small things like the FA cup final!

Not for the first time, we have an FA Cup Final that's boring as shit.

I went and emptied the dishwasher halfway through the first half and that was more interesting than that dross. Stoke ought to be sued under Trade Descriptions for calling themselves a football team...

Kenwyn Jones' hair looks a bit Ropey don't you think?

Oh, and Clive Tildesley talks utter, utter shit.  "If I was a manager I'd want to know why I hadn't got somebody in my dressing room who can throw the ball like him" (Delap).

I can see this going to penalties.  Stoke will probably get disqualified after Delap tries to take his with his hands.

Did I hear right? 25,000 tickets for each team and attendance of 88,000. That makes 38,000 corporates?

You need to take the "club wembley" tickets out of the 38,000 I think

There's a large amount of corporates, but a lot of tickets are distributed through football. Every club gets some as does each local FA. I know a guy who goes every year because he's linked to some minor county FA or other.
