Poor following of merely 2k fans of Swansea.

Apparently that is all the tickets they were allocated. So I was reliably informed by a Jacks fan today.

Take Bale out of the equation who I think will end up injured a lot because of his style of play and because he will be targeted with double marking etc and Van Der Vaart whose heart isn't really in it, and I think they are actually a very ordinary team. Modric does it sometimes but is not as great as some make out for me. In hindsight, they played some big names in the CL who are going through very fallow patches. Talking of empty and soulless achievements, that is exactly how I view Man City's season. It must just be me, but there is something about watching them that is just so empty and 'antiseptic' - dreary, unexciting football played in a stadium completely devoid of any sort of atmosphere or character.

Blimey, a Richard post with full-stops and no ...'s at the end! Fair play!

Just for you Eammon. You will note it was still pessimistic and generally grumpy however

I saw the second half of Forest - Swansea and the first half of Reading - Cardiff. I've quite enjoyed what I've seen. Not the best games that you will see but the passion and commitment certainly puts a few PL teams to shame. Real blood and guts at time.

A big,big day for us today.
If Wolves and/or Blackpool fail to win today we are mathematically safe.
At least we will know relatively early, before 3pm.

Shit isn't it ?
