Gomes saved the first penalty very well, then from the corner he came out to catch the ball, it parried up and as it came down he threw himself at the blackpool player and gave away another penalty, well done to the ref and Adam told dj campbell to belt up as he was taking it again, he duly scored

If I was a spurs fan I would be pissed off with Redknapp.  His love affair with Defoe means that they have had to change their successful 4231 into a less successful 442.  It's arguably cost them a chumps league place this season and could see them miss out on europe completely.

I think Defoe is a player we should try and sign in the close season.

Maybe ask about him if they come sniffing around Ahsley Young.

Defoe, Walker and £5m please.

Please god no.  We already have Bent to score the goals (and not much else).  Him and Defoe would mean that we'd have pretty much zero creativity.  Add the fact that Defoe doesn't score that many too.  He recently clocked his 100 premier league goal and he was only marginally quicker (in the number of games) to Heskey.  Slower than both Lampard and Gerrard.
