Absolutely nothing on this line in the Championship today - why did they bother?

I really, really don't want to have to root for Spurs, but yet here I am. What a shit season.

Spurs vs blackpool has the makings of a good game as both teams need to win, probably spurs more than blackpool

I wonder what his dad, the great Barca keeper Carles Busquets, must be thinking. Shameful.

"Great Barça keeper Carles Busquets" ... is this a joke?
His tights were nice, granted.
But he was a bit shit! Watch Racing's third goal, minute 1,40.

There were quite a few of these in his short career.

Fair enough, I was tired and just wrote a cliche, you got me. Honourable Barca FC family though, and Sergio's hardly living up to that.

No offence meant.
Actually, I think this is the most honourable Barça team there's ever been: at least the players just feign injuries, rather than cause them. Maybe you remember the Supercup final at VP in 1983, when Barça ended up with eight players: or this fracas at the end of the Spanish Cup Final in 1984:

Horror tackle from Adam.

Charlie Adam has just trod on Gareth Bale's Ankle and probably ended his season, challenge was very late

Yes, very nasty tackle that. Bale's foot looked distinctly......floppy when they lifted him onto the stretcher. Ouch.

Some clubs are going to have to re-shuffle their transfer targets.  Looks like Bale could be out for a while.

If I was a spurs fan I would be pissed off with Redknapp.  His love affair with Defoe means that they have had to change their successful 4231 into a less successful 442.  It's arguably cost them a chumps league place this season and could see them miss out on europe completely.

I think Defoe is a player we should try and sign in the close season.

Maybe ask about him if they come sniffing around Ahsley Young.

Defoe, Walker and £5m please.
