I don't blame Foy for the original pen decision as it was easier for the linesman. I reckon either he thought the ball was missed in which case he should have flagged when the ref gave a corner or he saw it and has was afraid that as Fergie was that side, he would get an earful.

It might be because Valencia has been out for so long but it is amazing the difference 12 months make for Manure players. Last season Nani did nowt and was a bad player apart from in glimpses and Valencia was their main wing threat. This season Valencia's delivery has been very poor and Nani has been excellent.

Still this match shows that Carrick is shit when faced with Midfielders who are quick and pass the ball. Roll on Xavi, Iniesta and Messi to humiliate him again just like 2009.
