Was it The Situation who was proclaiming Bale to be a flash in the pan earlier this season when we he was on fire. From recent weeks showing he seems to be right. He is trying to play up to his price tag and not doing the simple things, a bit like Young was last season and early on this. Apparently Bale has already said he thinks he can play centrally behind the strikers.
