Wenger being interviewed by CNN before the Spurs game has said that each year it is harder and harder to get into the Champions League and that next season Liverpool will be trying to gain a spot as well as Aston Villa!!!!

What was he doing on CNN?

Anyway, if ever a line summed up that lot from down the road, this is it (from the BBC):

Quote
Birmingham won the first game vs Chelsea this season 1-0, despite having only one shot to Chelsea's 27. Ben Foster made nine saves and Birmingham players cleared four shots off the line.

I also wonder what the hell Anderson is doing there, what is so special about him?  He puts himself about a bit but that's pretty much it.  Just because he has a Brazilian passport doesn't automatically make him good.  He's a lower pecking order squad player at best.

I think Fergie has squeezed the life out of him. He really was the most exciting young, natually gifted player I've ever seen and I include a young Ronaldo on that list. Pure class but Fergie has turned him into a Scottish box to box player. Such a waste. He'd be our perfect attacking midfielder if given the freedom to play his game. My guess is he'll be off to Italy in the summer.
