Out of interest, who was the ref?

Andre Marriner

I've heard the name but i'm not familar with him. Is this another F.A Stuart Atwell type fast track ref or is he normaly decent but his watch magically gained 4 minutes?
I

In the games I have seen him officiate he has been ok as for the injury time in this game im not sure as I was watching the Cup semi but after the game Rednapp and Alan Smith said that 12 mins was about right as it was 8 minutes to start off with due to a long injury and then Arsenal were awarded a pen and he added the time on for the celebrations after RVP had scored

Is this revenge for what happened in that 4 - 4 draw 2 seasons ago when Arshavin dented Pool's title challenge? Its the same thing really.

I still think there's going to be twists and turns before we know who lifts the cup come May. I hope. Just really really really hoping its not Man U. Getting sick at the sight if them lifting trophies all the time.

A couple of things regarding those 'big' weekend games...

Fergie in the stands, Rooney banned and looking on from the bench and Scholes sent off....how does that song go "We're Man utd we'll do what we want" I think it is....yeah, course you will.

Arsenal looking average, Wenger seething at the injustice of the penalty against them, then Dalgleish who had earlier been hyped up to get a knighthood earlier by the commentary team telling Wenger to "piss off".  Wonder if he'll get a ban.

Not exactly, He had a big grin and went up to Wenger to offer his hand, Wenger did his impression of Jesus on the cross and must have said something not very nice, in fact it was clearly enough to remove the grin and bring on the expletive by Sir King Kenny.

Damn, cannot believe what's happened to Bolton.

It must be so depressing being a Bolton fan now.

Especially if you're this chap...

I wonder if the club's going to hold a dinner to compensate him and the other 30,000 odd Bolton fans...

Was RVP yellow carded for taking his top off after scoring?
