Once upon a time I would have been delighted for them, but then they came into the money and have become arrogant and dismissive of other clubs and their supporters. They will now be intolerable for next few weeks; insufferable if they actually win the thing. United, on the other hand, are so successful, I'm now immured to their supporters' bragging. You're not a lone voice. I agree. Don't want City to win a thing. Would much sooner see United than City winning things. One has built on a phenomenal history and is still bringing players through etc, the other is simply buying and bombing out if not getting the desired effect. Not a massive fan of either, but United deserve respect, Citeh are just orrible.

I'm very pleased for the City supporters I know who have put up with shitloads of bad things for years.

I think most people would be open to feeling the same way for genuine fans who seen some of the dark days. It's the ones who suddenly emerge like they've been there all along with a sense of entitlement and just rub it in your face that bothers people. It happened to Chelsea, and it's happening with Man City. I'm sure there are Man City fans who are appalled by some of things they see and read from their new fans. I dare say if it had happened to us, there would have been a lot of new Villa fans doing exactly the same.

A top quality goal scorer. Teehee.Just before Gabby scored yesterday I was ranting on about how much easier it is to be a Small Heath fan. They seem to fluke positive results and blunder through even though the evidence shows them to have had a hiding. MOTD's highlights illustrated that rant rather well, I thought.

Bollocks. Guess I will be supporting Man City in the Final then. Blues and Stoke in Europe. Oh dear.
