Shame, as I'd much prefer to see Chelsea beat Man Utd. In an ideal world it would be Chelsea losing in the final to a John Terry own goal or missed penalty.

Chelsea are a joke club so I've never taken them seriously. Man Utd are supported by absolute twats, far more offensive than the Knuckledraggers..

and so the sun sets on the Ancelotti era at Chelsea. He won't survive a trophyless season. Amazing really when a manager will likely lose his job a season after winning the double.

TBH they could have won the title again this year but Abramovitch interfered again like he did to Mourinho and decided to get rid of Ray (look at their results pre and post change) and buy Torres over his managers head (Shevchenko anyone).

Messi has 48 goals this season!! Bloody amazing. The world has run out of superlatives to describe how incredible he is. I hope he wins a World Cup so he can truly be one of the great players of all time. His international CV needs a little help, but what a club career he has had so far.

I think he must have been the player who did pretty much everything right in the world cup but just could not buy a goal no matter what he did. Every keeper seemed to make world class saves against him no matter how many were let in against the rest of Argy teams.

Why can't all footballers have as much class as Giggs.

Spotty virgin to elder statesman.

The time has flown.

My word.

When the vital moments came around, Giggs was to the fore.

Another season passes when a London team does not win the European Cup/whatever new fangled name they have for it now.

Long may the record continue.

Absolutely. I left a yawn fest charity meeting to watch it. I'd rather have gone back to discussing CRB checks.
