Oh well, looking like the European Cup wont ever find its way to London. What a shame.

No worse than it going to Salford. Frankly if it doesn't end up in Catalunya it will be a travesty.

Shaktar gave it a right go tonight, a bit more composure in front of goal and a bit of luck (which seemed to go Barca's way) they could still have been in it in the second leg.  Unlike Spudz yesterday, Shaktar really didn't deserve to lose 5-1.

Yer, but it was Chelsea and I daresay the ref despises that load of scum as much as I do so decided not to bother

All the more hilarious for it being stone wall, wish there'd been another 3 or 4 the same...

The Champions League is a cracking competition. The group stages are a bit stale, but the knockouts get better and better every year. I long for the day we get there.

Grubby little competition that lost all its kudos when they started allowing teams in it that had not won their own leagues to qualify. Every team we beat in 1982 were national champions. Having said that, when we are in it one day I may give it a bit more attention.

Exactly. As I said last night I found it extremely distasteful to see a team in the quarter finals that has not won its own domestic league fpor 50 years...

Masterchef was good, it was the food critics round tonight.

Who won the football?

I don't get cooking programmes, I'd watch bloody Tamworth rather that some over emotional types cook food I'm not able to try myself.

Chelsea won 6-4.

The missus ( a trained chef herself) loves them, and I really couldn't be arsed pulling my arse off the sofa to watch the telly upstairs.

I ended up going down the local at half time of the Barca match to play cards with my mates, and heard the best comment ever.

Brummie Chelsea Fan: "I fucking hate Man U fans"

Mate in Boggies shirt: "Why's that mate?"

BCF (completely serious): "Look at the wankers in the stand, I bet none of them ****** come from Manchester, fucking glory hunters"

Boggie: "Are you taking the piss!"
