They were being battered before the sending off you daft bugger, it was the frustration of not seeing the ball that made him lose his cool.

It has been a wildly entertaining evening, just the Spurs result would have been great, but throw in Crouchy's sending off, Gomes's clanger, and - best of the lot - Wilkins putting in the most bizarre commentating performance I've ever heard, and it was magical stuff.
