Torres seems to be a disastrous signing. Chelsea only started playing once Drogba replaced him.

Liverpool were right to seel him when they did and grab £50m. Been saying that to my reds supporting mate for a few months now. "get rid, before his value plummets!"

I thought Barry looked unhappy when he came in too.

MOTD have just said that in his 5 starts for Chelsea he's managed 1 shot on target. I reckon I could probably manage that in 5 starts for Chelsea, and i'd have cost a few quid less.

Maybe Arsenal should have signed him for the champions league  , they would have at least maybe got a shot in

Torres looked better today. I imagine half his job is to add a bit more fluency and continuity to the Chelsea attacks, in addition to the goals which haven't been coming. However, to coin a phrase I'll never say again, praise God, 'I agree with Alan Green'. All Torres is missing is his first goal for Chelsea. Once one comes, not only will others follow, but his whole game will improve, with Chelsea's.

The f**kers.

I remember Chelsea waiting for Shevchenko suddenly to burst into life and take everyone apart.

Never happened though.

The way Chelsea finished last season and started this one, their decline has been astonishing. In relative terms, it's worse than ours

Shevchenko was significantly older and slower than Torres though. If Torres doesn't make it at Chelsea, it'll be a Fat Ronaldo-esque young age to decline.

Unless the niggly injuries have caught up with him already I'd expect Torres to click into action soon. He's too good not to.

He's been no good for ages. There's no possible way he will ever come good now. He definitely WON'T score a hat-trick against Small Heath.

I have seen nothing in Torres for the last 10 months to suggest he's anything above average at best.

Sideshow Bob at less than half the price looks like a great signing and he can score goals.

I like what you're trying to do here! Yeah that Torres is utter pants.
