Was that Alan Ball helping him with the bib?  I thought he was brown bread?

I believe it was Fulchesters' erstwhile assistant Tommy Brown helping Terry Fuckwit.

amazing that 85 million quid spent on two forwards on deadline day, and they haven't mustered a goal between them. But apparently Darren Bent was overpriced.

On the radio they were falling over themselves to claim that getting caught just offside was worth thirty million

It was nice to see Liverpool playing the traditional Liverpool way and not looking for a big target man. I'm sure the sacked Hodgson would have been very proud to see Liverpool going back to their roots.

Ha, yes indeed, and wasn't Anfield a seething cauldron of noise. Takes me back to those famous Anfield european nights...all of about 30 years ago now!

Evesham does have a station. With an extremely boring station master. And very slow dirty trains.

Train from marylebone is it? Or is there a change somewhere? I used to go there when I went off to a prison (Long Lartin?). But what a drab old place it is. Actually its coming back to me...afetr I finished I went to a pub looking for cricket 9this is about a year ago) and evrything was shut save two big pubs on a roundabout on the drab high street. Evesham. Lovely.

Paddington. Takes nearly 2 and a half hours when you include all the unexplained stops in the dark in the middle of nowhere. Maybe I caught Evesham on a bad day but it hit 9.0 on the dreary scale

Wow, Real Madrid - Barcelona semi final.

That is what you call a "big match".

Paddington, that's it. The thing that dragged me down was the endless passing of nothingness inbetween stops that you never knew existed and when hope springs and you arrive at Evesham you walk around with the type of person who breathes out of their mouth only because you know they're thinkingw'hy f*cking risk it'? Dull town. God, its sooooo dull.
