After watching the Liverpool- Braga match I will have to advise the Pool supporters I know to get a neck brace otherwise they will do themselves damage looking up at the hoofs all the time.

I hope Spurs get Barca, old Harry would try and play 'the spurs way' and go for it and they'd get ripped apart.

I could see Spurs beating Barca over the two legs. Mainly because they will keep it tidier at the back then Arsenal do and the Barca defenders would not be able to deal with the long balls to Crouch all night. But it will only work if they have three times the amount of luck that they had in the two legs against Milan.

Just back from Goodison - Poor game. Small Heath defended well - poor away support but the home support was dreadful. Wasted 90 mins of my life and £47 . Hopefully the trip in 3 or 4 weeks time is more enjoyable.

£47? Was that for you and Cam mate?

Yes - £31 and £16 in the enclosure - decent view close to the pitch ...was bloody frezzing though- thank heavens for my snood

Spurs would never get the ball long enough to hoof it to Crouch. I'm sorry, Barca would be fine against Spurs and the bleedin' long ball, especially if Pique and Puyol return to fitness. In fact they'd probably slaughter Spurs.

Not worth a new thread but I thought this was a fantastic stat:

811 - @rioferdy5 has committed a foul less often than any other outfield player in the last two seasons, one every 811 minutes. Poised.

He commits a foul every nine games?

Giving money to the shit is never a good thing.  Though it is acceptable , but hugely irritating, to do so when the Villa are there, it would be unforgivable to give them your hard earned otherwise.  Plus, do you want to be there when 10,000 knuckledraggers celebrate going to Wembley?  (Again.)

Bloose's injury list looks as bad as ours did before Christmas.
