However this is exactly how we won many matches in 1981/82.

Spurs will go through, claim there the best in the world, and be more unbearable than usual. I heard 2 of them (one is a recent fan for some reason) think there the best team in the world. I laughed, then realised they was being serious!
Let the wankfest begin. I refuse to watch sports channels, until saturday, this will still be wanked over though

Fair play to Tottenham. I wanted them to go through. Great tie to get past.

I refuse to buy a paper or listen to the radio for the next few days if spuds go through such will be the media love-in.
Agreed.  I actually had to turn the TV off as soon as the final whistle blew, in the same way I did when the final whistle blew at some game at Wembley the other day.

Nah, that's just jealousy. We'd get the same exposure if we were in the CL quarter-finals.

The Champions League has declined almost as much as the Premier League - Barca excepted of course

Never thought I would see an AC Milan team with the likes of Boateng, Flamini and Robinho in it

A draw would be best for us but I still would love Everton to get a winner.

Oh well their next game in hand is against Chelsea so hopefully they rattle up a big score and the rags drop into the relegation zone on goal difference.

The first two I will give you but Robinho is very talented when he wants to be. And anyway, even the Milan of the past mostly relied on talented defenders and not massive on big talent up front.

Just back from Goodison - Poor game. Small Heath defended well - poor away support but the home support was dreadful. Wasted 90 mins of my life and £47 . Hopefully the trip in 3 or 4 weeks time is more enjoyable.
