Yup, the punishment due to that is to completely ignore it, clearly.

Watching the Shakter- Roma highlights and I see Howard Webb has taken on board the English ruling that an elbow to the face is nothing these days

Yeah, just seen that. Absolute disgrace.

However I expect that UEFA will have the bollocks to punish the player, something our FA haven't got.

Saw a great goal scored by  'the other James Collins' at The New Meadow tonight, to put Shrewsbury 2-1 up, but not enough to beat Port Vale who scored through a penalty to make it 2-2.

And so the week arrives, right on cue, where Arsenal's season implodes and they blame everybody but themselves

...while failing to notice that Koscielny should have been sent off for the penalty and that Barcelona should have had another penalty in the first half.

For all Arsenal's preening.... I doubt there is a single side in the Premier League other than them who would've gone to the Nou Camp and not managed ONE poxy shot on goal.

Not that there has been any sympathy here but arsenal can only blame themselves. For all their talk of going and attacking - "their natural game" - they had 5 in defence for most of the match.

It's crazy really as I'm not sure how good the likes of Rosiky and Nasri are when asked to defend for their lives.

Precisely.

Now, as much as it pains me to say it, I hope UTD stuff them at the weekend and knock them out of the cup.
That will fuck them up so badly they they will struggle to finish in the top 3 never mind win the league.

And it serves the fucking wastrels right.

Its all karma for losing to the bluenose bastards last weekend.

To be fair, I was watching the game with a load of Arse fans last night and they do blame themselves - or Wenger to be precise.

They are running out of patience with his refusal to spend money on proven players, especially defenders.

Wenger will go at the end of the season - his star is starting to wane in a lot of Arsenal fans eyes, and as such he'll want to leave of his own accord and whilst he can be remembered more for the trophies they have won as opposed to the ones they've lost. I expect he'll go to Real Madrid to replace Jose, who seems to have fallen out with the Real president again, or maybe even Bayern.

Agree, Wenger's time is up there, the QF will seal his fate at the weekend but he will stay until May / June then part.
Soft underbelly for years at Arsenal
