They were shit with eleven men and didn't get out of their half.

Who have Arse got this weekend? I would bet they lose this weekend the amount of energy they have used this second half.

Man United away.  FAC QF.

Well I didn't enjoy that much. It's more fun when we're 4 up after 30 minutes.

the Arse have been robbed of a small chance of lifting a certain cup

that we have won

the ref is now choosing his gratis villa in Catalunya
Robbed how?

Daft sending off decision but the right team won. And would have won regardless of what had happened with the red card.

I'm no fan of Arsenal, but that decision is at best a disgrace, at worst bent.
Again you seem to be criticising the ref for applying the laws just because it took the competition out of the game.
Except he's not really, is he?

He quite clearly wasn't trying to waste time. Any sensible referee would have given him the benefit of the doubt in that situation.

We'll never know but I'm pretty sure RVP heard the whistle.

Imagine if we ever played these lot? (christ knows how or why we'd be playing them but still) We wouldn't touch the ball.

We did once...enjoy

I can see Wenger making wholesale changes for that one, those that played tonight will still be knackered come the weekend. It takes it out of you chasing the ball for 90 minutes.

This will be the end of Wenger

Here's hoping.

I like their football but I cannot stand the arrogant cock.

hence robbed of a small chance-with 11 men they may have held out-they would have had more of a chance-a small chance ,but a chance

Even so, unless you're completely sure then you don't just send a player off. And in that sort of atmosphere it would be impossible to be completely sure.

Oh dear it's started on the Beeb already -

Yep, Wenger has had his say, about the Robin van Persie red card, I would think. BBC pundit Lee Dixon just called it a ludicrous decision and he is right - the whistle had only just gone when Van Persie had his shot, and how the heck was he expected to hear it anyway over the noise of a crowd of 95,000. I won't gloss over the fact that Barca were dominating possession, but the score on the night was 1-1 when that decision changed the rest of the game

And I know it's not just me who is sick of refereeing decisions being the main talking points after games. I wish we were talking about some mesmerising football too. But, when the officials get big ones like that wrong, they have to face the music. They won't though...

It was a mad sending off=and it ruined the game(as a neutral)

but the Arse were hardly pulling up trees

and they don't get to win the European cup
