The thing is the english press will make a big deal about how the sending off ruined it, etc, but the reality is if you don't have a single shot you're not going to get through, the BBC match stats thing shows 19 shots to 0 (arsenal scored from an OG so doesn't get counted) if you didn't win by 3 or 4 in a game with those chances (and 2/3rds possession) you'd be very upset.
