Well the OS says 1982-83 but I think you are right as it was during the January or February I think?

I can't bring myself to support Arsenal since the 27th February 2011.

Had the whole "do you support other English clubs in Europe" debate with a lad at work today.  Apart from Fulham the other year, I can't remember the last time I've backed any of them.  The Champions League teams in particular, what the hell would I want Arsenal to win that for?

This Barcelona team play probably the best football I've ever seen.  I'd be a shame for this team to break up in a few years without a handful of European Cups to their name, even more so if a shower of w*****s like Chelsea, Spurs or Arsenal were to get their hands on it.

À propos the "do you support English teams in Europe?" debate:

The game is being shown on Spanish state television. This is quite funny, because it means that the Madrid journalists who are commentating will have to feign enthusiasm if we score, and distress if the Arse score.

I support Villa, and Barça.

Arsenal are one step away from accomplishing the most horrifying syllogism the footballing world has ever seen:

BCFC beat Arsenal in the League Cup Final;
Arsenal beat Barça in the Champions;

The conclusion is chilling, isn't it?

I don't know, I'm just enjoying the use of the world 'syllogism'.

Good work.

Clyde 1-0 up on Queens Park

Didn't they just play one another?
