Yes, a jammy win for Man City at home to Wigan, after being held at home by Fulham last week.

Yet Villa apparently don't have a chance.

No we could not have in anyway got a draw at Eastlands. We now know our place and should not fantasise  that we can compete with the mighty city. mr Houllier has explained that to us many times. I don't know why we are surprised. Us supporters are fucking stupid.
Very surprised that Reading did not realise their place in the pecking order the night before.

Having just seen MOTD, I was in awe of how Man City dismantled that powerhouse of European football Wigan. Following on from their devastating performance against another footballing giant in Fulham on Sunday, no wonder some of our fans (and our manager) felt we had no chance there on Weds. It would have been the equivalent of Bromsgrove Rovers playing Brazil '70 at their peak. Phew, we dodge a real bullet there!

I have to say, I agree entirely with you.

There's no way we could have hoped to beat Manchester City, even if they do have only 14 fit players. In fact, we should all write them a "thank you" card for letting us play there at all.

Perhaps if three of our main players, Petrov, Heskey and Agbonlahor had bothered to turn up and maybe put a bit of effort in, then things might possibly have been different.

Watched the highlights of the Dog shit game.
Curtis Davies hasn't got any better.

He'd fit right in with us now.

Yesssssssssss!

3-0 now.

Was four-nil in the end. Against horrid Queen's Park in the Pish Firm derby.

So... the way the season's gone Wolves will beat Spurs and Blackpool will beat Chavski tomorrow. If I expect it I won't be so miserable when it happens.

Actually, I thought those City players looked a little jaded from playing their third game in a week.

Unless Nicky Weaver was going to chuck one in his own net, then we didn't. The first team would have been rolled over. Its the law of the universe;

"Villa shall be shite in Manchester".

We let 3 in against Man City and another 3 against Bolton, surely even the most short sighted amongst you have now realised that the changes we made were not the reason we lost.

Might have been the reason we didn't even look like competing though Chris.

Man Utd are genuinely not a very good side, them being top is just a reflection of the lack of quality in the league at the moment.
