What if they win the FA cup?  Bolton at home for a return to Wembley.  Jammy bastards.

The knives will be out for wenger now if they win nothing again and to be honest blues totally deserved to win- we will not hear the end of this for a long long time!

They've had a hell of a lot of luck along the way in terms of the draws, the goals etc, but they've won something so fair play to them I guess.

No doubt this means the balance of power has shifted blah blah blah.

This is one of the reasons I hate those wankers so much. At the slightest opportunity they rewrite history and all we'll hear now is about them biggest the biggest and bestest.

They finally have some success and you can best with most of them that we are their first thought. When we've had success they are the last thing on my mind.

They'll still know the truth though.

Only another 18 pots for the balance to become level. I think we're safe for the next millennium at least.

Surely everyone laughed though when they scored the second goal? I can't have been the only one?

For all Wenger's pretty football and discovery of unknown talent, they haven't won anything in six years and that's unacceptable to a team like Arsenal.

His reluctance to spend in the transfer market at key moments always seems to stuff him.

Not buying a decent centre half was a huge mistake.

I held my head in my hands and said, "Fuck!"

So glad I'm not in Brum at the moment.

Doesn't bother me my approach is going to congratulate them and saying I was hoping they would win I always want the small team to win in a cup tie.  They don't know what to say when you don't come across looking really gutted.

Arsenal paid the ultimate price for their tippy tappy football. Possession is one thing but you will only score/win games by shooting not trying to walk it in.

Cant we just give credit where its due? Well done Blues. I'm actually happy that it is fellow Brummies celebrating rather than another run of the mill victory for one of the big teams.

And lets not pretend their fans are anything other than normal Brummies. Some are ridiculous, some are thick as pig shit, some are vile. But the vast majority are just like us. I hope they enjoy it the way we would have done.

Yup.  Expect plenty of talk about them bridging 'the gap' and 'biggest club' in the region.

Saw the last half an hour and I thought Arsenal were poor.  Wenger isn't going to win anything unless he instructs his team to shoot.  Blues were their usual industrious, uninspired selves.

All that has to be said to any bluenose at work is, with a a chuckle,  come back after another 19 or so.

It would be hilarious if they now went down, which looking at the table, seems quite likely.

Lets get this into perspective, they have won their second trophy in 136 years................how sweet it will be if they now get relegated. I'm personally not that bothered 20 mins after the final whistle.
Lets give the dog a bone now and again. We are the famous Aston Villa, known throughout the world, European cup winners and we are definately going forward..................................
