Blackpool are in free fall. And with Charlie Adam out for two more games, they are going to get worse. Want to see as many midland teams stay in the prem as possible. Except the scum of course ........

Like others I cringed when that tune started playing at Wolves. Please god, don't ever let us start playing tunes after goals.
I thought the pitch looked bloody terrible and Blackpool were hopeless.
Rooney is a complete tool and shouldn't get away with that elbow incident.

I reckon Clattenberg will claim he saw it and dealt with it. And I see Phelan was trying to butter him up after the game. "He got all of his decisions right."

Was there that much difference in what Rooney did to what DJ Campbell did? They both used their arms to strike an opponent after all. Let's face it, a Wigan player would have walked for that.

It pisses me off how Rooney gets away with so much.

Clampy did the Wigan player provoke Rooney? On MOTD it claimed he just stepped in Rooneys way? To think Heskey got a 3 match ban for just touching an opposing player then Rooney gets the warm arm of the ref around him for assulting a player with a swinging arm. And people say Manu dont get preferential teatment.

I'm not supporting Rooney at all, the opposite in fact. I was saying there was'nt much difference in what Rooney did to what DJ Campbell did. Rooney only stayed on the pitch because the starstruck ref did'nt have the bottle to send him off.

The Wigan guy did go to block Rooneys run off the ball. Rooney could easily have sidestepped the player but instead decided to go in with an elbow to the head of the player. Then he has the cheek to say he did nothing wrong before reminding Clattenberg he would be forfeiting his post match bonus if he sent Wayne off.

Ah, got you, sorry. To me the Wigan player made a fair challenge to the ball but Rooney's reaction was over the top and the ref was right behind it. He should have at least been booked.
