Bloody West Ham or Stoke at Wembley, and you just know for a fact Blues will beat Bolton and get Stoke in the semis and end up in another final. Although seeing them lose two finals and get relegated would be amusing.

Yeah, I fair laughed my ass off when Boro did it in '97 as I hated them (still do). So it would be genius if the Twat Treble ended up on the St Andrews Dishonour Roll.

If Blues lose both Cup Finals they will probably qualify for Europe. Balls to that.

Hitz's caps were mostly in a period when Germans were very poor. He never made it as regular choice in key games.
Some people clearly have an opinion based on 2004 alone and it would seem that no amount of facts or evidence to the contrary will ever change that.

But they'd lose the Europa League qualifier anyway against some Kazakhstan part-timers. I might stick a quid on them losing both finals and going down.

I'm still hopeful that we will play them in the FA cup final and absolutely fucking destroy them.

It would be interesting to see if Hitzlsperger manages to find a regular place in the Germany squad now, what with them having Ozil, Khedira et al to choose from.

They would still boast for ever about being in Europe if Villa weren't there. They still bang on about being the first English team in Europe... even though they weren't, and they only entered because Villa couldn't be bothered.

It is still only relatively recently that they don't think that they actually won it. Know feck all about their own 'lack of' history.

I thought they did win it? Beat Tranmere in the Final... Big John Gayle hat-trick. That was the European Cup wasn't it?

It would.

But so far, when fit, he has been selected alongside them.

Yes, they took 4,500,000 to the final, a new world record

Fair enough. Wasn't a lot wrong with his performance tonight.
