Why are Wet Spam so useless at putting in these performances when they need to, specifically in a certain cup semi-fnal?

No doubt they will beat Stoke in the next round so as to piss me off and get the West Ham - Villa game moved. Then, being the lowest-ranked team left in the competition, they will inevitably draw Small Heath and capitulate again.

Put it like this, Hitz would be welcome in our current midfield as would his goals and his dead ball skills
He also seems a model pro and a top bloke, good ambassador

Hitz's caps were mostly in a period when Germans were very poor. He never made it as regular choice in key games.

Even when Germany are 'very poor', they never fail to reach the Quarter-Finals of the World Cup.... usually get to the semis at least.

It just shows you don't necessarily need to be good to get far in the cups. West Ham in the semis of the Carling and quarters of the FA and Blues in the final of the Carling and quarters of the FA (us in the final of the Carling and semis of the FA last season, we got easy draws) they're both shit and West Ham should have been 3 down tonight before they scored.

His last cap was just after the world cup when he captained the side and would have been at the world cup but for a bad spell at Lazio.

Maybe Hitz will end up back at the Villa one day, he was at the 3-3 Chelsea game so maybe he still loves us!

I'd have much preferred to keep the fella at the time but we didn't and we're a different side now. Top bloke, average footballer.

Bloody West Ham or Stoke at Wembley, and you just know for a fact Blues will beat Bolton and get Stoke in the semis and end up in another final. Although seeing them lose two finals and get relegated would be amusing.
