The point being missed here is yes Barca tippy tapped, played triangles, had everyone fawning over them on Weds

But they LOST the football match
Fair point.
Do you thnk they will lose the tie ?

I think Barca will go through, that away goal is of huge value

I think it will be close........ as we saw on Weds, Valdes can be dodgy and Pique is suspended, if Puyol is still injured they will have a weaker defence so if Arsenal can score early.......

Think you're right Spangley, it wont be a simple game for Barca, they have to chase the game and we saw what Arsenal can do on the break. I just hope the Refereeing is impartial on the night.

What a 2nd leg it should be though, I was never really interested in CL, but the knock out stages are generally exceptional entertainment

I'm off out into the rain later to watch a bunch of amateurs play football, real non-league, not just in name only.

It's seems strange to say it but I hope Man Utd absolutely demolish Crawley, 10 will do. I also hope that the media come clean and stop perpetuating the myth about this tie.

I'm sure the former is more likely than the latter.

I thought the ref on weds wasnt bad, cant remember him doing much wrong which is normally a good sign......Is it the same ref for the 2nd leg ??? and the Group Stages are a complete farce

No. Halesowen Town V Salisbury City, techinically "working" for Community Radio although I don't get paid.

The Yeltz are a good example of the down side of ambition beyond means in Non-league and are struggling to survive both on and off the pitch due to the antics of previous owners, full of cash and false promises and it's now a combination of willing volunteers and the supporters trust keeping the club afloat. In truth they could go the same way as Bromsgrove.

Salisbury could go top of the league today as Truro don't have a game, and considering Evesham gubbed Halesowen 8-0 in the last league fixture at The Grove it could be a busy afternoon.

I'm considering a silly couple of quid on Mr Osbourne scoring the first goal for Sheff Weds today. 25/1 with William Hill. I'm tempted.

not very generous odds. Has he ever scored a goal at first team level ?

I'm not sure actually but that's about the average odds for a non goalscoring centre midfielder.
